Keyboard Design

The Hybrid Grand keyboard with progressive hammer action, 88 hybrid wood/plastic Ivory Feel keys with escapement is designed to replicate the resistance under the fingers, the gradation, and the escapement typical of an acoustic piano. Thanks to the high-precision touch detection, the LX-6 faithfully reproduces velocity differences, from the most delicate pianissimo to strong attacks. On the pedal side, the three-pedal unit (soft, sostenuto, sustain) with continuous detection allows fine half-pedal control, enhanced by mute modeling to respect traditional techniques.

Sound Quality

Piano Reality Modeling does not simply replay a sample: it calculates the instrument's response in real time to produce lively harmonics, natural transitions, and credible resonances. The result: expressive playing, consistent across the entire range, with unlimited polyphony on piano sounds to chain rich chords, generous pedaling, and fast passages without limitation. The sound projection relies on Piano Reality Projection with five speakers, designed to highlight attack, depth, and presence while reinforcing the "furniture" sensation in the room. With headphones, the binaural rendering promotes an intimate and comfortable listening experience, ideal for long practice sessions while maintaining a realistic stereo image.
