Roland's Vintage Wavetable Revisited
The Roland n/vision brings the spirit of the great wavetable synthesizers of the 1980s into a compact, modern and particularly expressive instrument. Its approach combines the digital, sometimes bright and metallic character of historic wave tops with a straightforward workflow designed for today's musicians.
Part of the Roland Boutique family, the n/vision features a dense yet accessible interface, capable of taking you from immediate sound sketching to highly advanced sound design. Its white side panels give it a distinctive visual identity, while the included K-25m dock turns it into a standalone mini-synthesizer, ready to play without any additional setup.
A Creative Synthesizer for Producers and Sound Explorers
The n/vision is aimed at producers, keyboard players, synthesis enthusiasts and experimental artists looking for a compact instrument without compromising on depth. Its two-layer wavetable operation makes it possible to create living sounds whose timbre continuously transforms as you play, modulate or sequence.
It will naturally find its place in electro, techno, ambient, synthwave, house, modern pop, film music and sound design productions. Its animated digital textures, wide pads and spatial effects are also well suited to live performances, creative studios and desktop setups. Beginners will appreciate the accessible front-panel controls, while experienced users can take advantage of the more detailed settings pages to fine-tune every sonic movement.
