Ideal as a first serious stage piano or as a versatile working instrument, it maintains the "ready to play" approach dear to the range, while remaining expandable via software extensions to gain sonic depth and configuration possibilities.

Keyboard Design

At the heart of the RD-08 is a PHA-4 Standard 88-key keyboard with weighted hammer action, designed to offer fine control over attack and dynamics. The Ivory Feel coating enhances grip and comfort over time, whether you play solo piano, accompaniment, or on stage. The velocity sensitivity accurately reflects playing intention, while the chassis design aims to optimize transport and setup without sacrificing stability or consistent touch across the keyboard.

Sound Quality

The RD-08 relies on SuperNATURAL acoustic and electric pianos renowned for their musicality, dynamic response, and expressive rendering, suitable for both headphone playing and stage use. To immediately broaden the sonic palette, the ZEN-Core engine provides over 3000 sounds (organs, synths, strings, brass, and more) to build modern textures, pads, leads, or live-ready combinations. Convenient for everyday use, the built-in stereo speaker system allows playing without additional equipment at home, rehearsals, or small gigs, while keeping the option to switch to a PA system whenever needed.
