A Major Evolution in The Legend '70s Line

With this MKII Artist-W version, The Legend '70s enters a particularly ambitious second chapter. The idea remains the same: to recapture the soul of great vintage electromechanical keyboards, but in a thoroughly modern, modular instrument ready to follow a demanding musician over the long term.

This version takes the concept further with dual-core DSP electronics, a revised EPROM with more programs, reduced operating noise, an updated wooden keyboard and new aluminium knobs. Within the range, the MKII Artist-W stands out as a high-end version for stage pianists who refuse to choose between authenticity, touch and flexibility.

Keyboard Design

The Legend '70s MKII Artist-W features an 88-key keyboard with graduated weighted action, enhanced by a selection of wooden keys to provide a more organic feel beneath the fingers. This configuration is clearly aimed at pianists accustomed to a genuine piano touch, with a progressive response across the entire range and dynamics suited both to subtle nuances and more forceful attacks. The wooden keyboard update further enhances playing comfort, whether accompanying or playing solo.

Sound Quality

This model's strength lies in its modular architecture and new dual-DSP main circuit, designed to deliver greater power, more programs and extensive upgrade flexibility. The piano comes with the A. Piano 2G module and features 4 free slots for adding other sonic worlds. Available modules include Electric Piano, FM Synth, Synth-8, Sound Collection, Clavi and External, making it possible to build a truly customised instrument. In terms of memory, users benefit from 384 programs divided into 24 banks of 16 programs. Depending on the module used, polyphony reaches 128 voices for the Acoustic Piano and Sound Collection modules, while the Electric Piano and Clavi modules offer full polyphony for fluid playing, even with dense textures and intensive stage use.
