This generation features a redesigned synth section, effects per module, and a refined interface, while incorporating the organ modeling from the recent Nord Organ 3. The result: a versatile instrument tailored for live performance, ideally positioned between the Stage and Piano series in the lineup.

Keyboard Design

The Nord Electro 7 HP adopts a Kawai portable hammer action (HP) mechanism with triple sensors, 73 keys, featuring a weighted and velocity-sensitive touch. The triple sensors ensure fine reproduction of repetitions and dynamics, while the three velocity curves allow you to tailor the response to your playing, from pianissimo to fortissimo, with perfect stability on stage.

Sound Quality

The Piano section relies on premium samples from the "Nord Piano Library" with sympathetic resonance, dynamic filters, and dynamic compression for immediate presence in the mix. On the synthesis side, sample playback, analog waveforms, and FM combine to cover modern or retro textures. The Organ section features modeling from the Nord Organ 3 for tonewheels, transistors, and a liturgical organ with striking realism. Designed for the stage, the Electro 7 does not include built-in speakers.
