A Signature Designed for Expressiveness and Precision
Inspired by Nick Johnston's very "modern fusion/rock" approach, this signature model focuses on immediate playability and dynamic response. The HSS configuration and Strat-style ergonomics make it an instrument suitable for both stage and studio, capable of switching registers without losing definition, all in an eye-catching Atomic Orange finish.
Who Is It For, and What Styles?
This guitar is aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists seeking a comfortable, fast, and versatile electric guitar. It excels in rock, modern blues, fusion, pop, and funk (single coil positions), while retaining the necessary gain reserve for heavier riffs thanks to the bridge humbucker.
Sound
The alder body provides a very musical balance: present mids, clear highs, and well-controlled lows, ideal for clarity in a band setting. The roasted maple neck enhances attack and stability, with an immediate response feel under the fingers, while the ebony fingerboard adds precision and a natural snap. On the electronics side, the Schecter HSS setup features a Diamond '78 humbucker with a denser, punchier character for leads and distortion, and two Nick Johnston Single Coil pickups for articulate, crystalline, and dynamic tones. The 5-position selector and Volume / Tone controls allow quick switching from bright cleans to more aggressive rhythm sounds.
