A "plug-and-play" solution to modernize your Strat without compromising its identity

The complete Seymour Duncan STK-PG-W pickguard is designed for guitarists who want to regain a true "Strat" character (attack, clarity, dynamics) while eliminating the main drawback of single coils: hum and interference. Thanks to the combination of three Stack Plus pickups mounted on a ready-to-install pickguard, you save valuable installation time and ensure a reliable result, with a coherent setup that is immediately usable both in rehearsal and on stage.

Who is it for, and in which styles?

Ideal for a Strat -style guitar, this equipped pickguard suits musicians playing blues, funk, pop, and rock, as well as studio guitarists who need clean and silent takes. You retain the snappy and articulated feel of typical positions while enjoying a higher level of comfort when pushing gain, using effects, or playing under challenging lighting and electrical environments.

Noiseless, but not fixed: possible coil-splitting to switch back to "true" single-coil mode

The kit includes three complementary models (STK-S6, STK-S4M, STK-S7 ) and optimized wiring via the Liberator system, designed to facilitate solderless replacements and interventions. In standard configuration, you benefit from hum-cancelling to reduce unwanted noise. And if you wish, you can split the pickups to switch to "pure" single-coil mode (without hum-cancelling) to regain an even more direct, raw response and explore another facet of the Strat sound.

Questions frequently asked

Is this complete pickguard compatible with a Strat-style guitar?

This pickguard is designed for a Strat-type guitar and includes the neck, middle, and bridge positions. It is delivered in white finish with the STK-S6, STK-S4M, and STK-S7 pickups.

Do the Stack Plus pickups eliminate hum?

The standard configuration uses hum-cancelling operation to reduce noise and interference. The Alnico V magnets preserve an attack and dynamics associated with the Strat sound.

Can the pickups on the STK-PG-W be split?

It is possible to split the pickups thanks to their 4-conductor wiring. Switching activates a single-coil mode. In this mode, the hum-cancelling noise reduction is no longer applied.

Is soldering required to install or replace the pickups?

The Liberator system facilitates interventions and replacements without soldering. The three pickups are already mounted and wired on the complete pickguard.
