8 mono channels, 2 stereo channels mixer, Lexicon FX
Available in three versions with 8 and 12 channels, the EFX series replicates the features of the EPM series while integrating a powerful 24-bit Lexicon digital effects module. It introduces new functionalities in the multi-format mixer category while maintaining a high quality/price ratio. The use of low-tolerance surface-mount components increases the precision of gain and EQ circuits. The GB30 microphone preamp, identical to that used in the LX7II and GB series, provides a dynamic range of +22 dB and features a true professional 48V phantom power supply. A clipping LED allows progressive visualization if the signal approaches saturation, measured at various stages of each channel.

Questions frequently asked
How many sources can be connected to the Soundcraft EFX 8?
The console features 8 balanced mic/line inputs on XLR or 6.35 mm jack, as well as 2 balanced stereo inputs. A stereo return input on jack and a 2-track input on RCA complete the connectivity.
Does the console have built-in effects?
A 24-bit Lexicon module offers 32 effects, with Tap Tempo and three adjustable parameters. User settings can be saved, and a dedicated channel has its own master fader.
What equalization is available on the mic channels?
Each mono channel has a 3-band EQ with a semi-parametric mid band adjustable from 150 Hz to 3.5 kHz, with ±15 dB gain. The low band affects 80 Hz and the high band 12 kHz, also with ±15 dB gain.
Can condenser microphones be used with this console?
The 48 V phantom power allows the use of microphones that require this power. The GB30 mic preamps offer a dynamic range of +22 dB, with clipping LEDs on each channel.
What outputs are available for front of house and monitors?
Two balanced Mix outputs on XLR with insert are provided for main output. Monitors have 2 balanced Monitor outputs and a Mono output on 6.35 mm jack. A stereo headphone output on 6.35 mm jack delivers up to 300 mW at 32 ohms.
