A Mini Stagebox Designed for the Si Console Ecosystem

The Mini Stagebox stage racks fit into a modern stage setup logic: grouping connections as close as possible to the musicians and sending only a single digital audio link to the FOH. Designed to work with Si series consoles, this solution focuses on easy integration and consistent signal flow thanks to a MADI over Cat 5 connection. The result: a cleaner infrastructure, faster deployment, and easier security during stage changes.

Important: this stage rack is indicated as delivered without an extension card for Si consoles. Therefore, the appropriate card must be provided on the console side to utilize the MADI connection.

Who Is It For and What Are Its Uses?

This Mini Stagebox is aimed at sound engineers, stage technicians, and operators who want to reduce the length of analog multicore cables without complicating the setup. It is particularly suitable for live events (concerts, festivals, corporate), equipped venues (halls, theaters, churches), and configurations where the FOH is distant from the stage.

With its 32 mic/line inputs, it meets the needs of dense setups (drum kits, full backline, multiple vocals, mic'd acoustic instruments, DI boxes, etc.) while maintaining a pragmatic approach: XLR connectors everywhere, a single digital link to the console, and a comfortable working distance.

Connectivity, Audio Flow, and Key Points On Stage

A MADI Cat 5 Link to Simplify Cabling

The MADI Cat 5 connection via RJ45 allows linking the stage and console with a suitable network cable, instead of running a heavy and bulky analog multicore. This approach speeds up setup, simplifies cable identification, and helps keep the stage tidier, especially when cable routing is constrained.

Mic/Line Inputs: Clean Centralization of Sources

The 32 mic/line inputs on XLR provide a direct interface for microphones and line sources. Placing the rack close to the stage limits long analog cable runs while maintaining a standard, robust connector format familiar to all crews.

XLR Outputs: Analog and AES/EBU Depending on Configuration

On the output side, the Mini Stagebox offers XLR outputs suited to common needs: sends to monitors, sidefills, PA systems, or digital streams via AES/EBU. Note: supplier information mentions both 12 balanced line outputs on XLR and 8 balanced line outputs on XLR complemented by pairs of AES/EBU outputs on XLR. This wording may depend on how outputs are counted (analog vs. digital); the key takeaway is the presence of at least 8 balanced line outputs and AES/EBU outputs on XLR connectors.

Range: Up to 100 m Between Console and Rack

The maximum stated distance of 100 m between the console and the stage rack provides real flexibility: FOH at the back of the venue, balcony, truck, or fixed installation with long cable runs. This is a key point to maintain a stable signal and efficient stage organization.
