The built-in recorder captures up to 24 tracks on SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards: 12 mono channels, 5 stereo channels, and a stereo mix. WAV/BWF files are recorded at 44.1 or 48 kHz with 16- or 24-bit resolution. Cards up to 512 GB with a minimum class 10 are supported.
Can the Tascam Model 2400 be used as a USB audio interface for a DAW?
Via its USB-B 2.0 port, the console functions as a 24-input, 22-output USB audio interface. DAW control via HUI/MCU allows transport and recording functions to be operated from the surface.
How many monitor mixes can be managed?
Five auxiliary sends are available, including four Aux sends and one dedicated send for the internal effects. Selectable Pre/Post EQ routing allows adapting sends for monitor mixes or external processing.
