V*12: A Vandoren Reference Focused on Richness of Tone
Designed to provide more substance in the sound, the V*12 reeds align with Vandoren's approach: demanding and consistent manufacturing, aimed at meeting the expectations of musicians seeking a deeper timbre and a more "grounded" playing sensation.
For Which Musician and Styles
These reeds are particularly suited for clarinetists who want to gain in sound density and presence, in classical contexts, orchestras, chamber music, but also in popular music whenever a full and stable sound is desired.
Sound and Design
Their thicker design at both ends promotes a broader vibration, resulting in a richer and deeper sound. The thicker tip adds body to the attack and helps improve the reed's longevity.
Recommended Compatible Accessories
To preserve the reed's curve and response between sessions, a reed protection case is recommended.
