Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
Freestyle is a series of Vic Firth drumsticks inspired by the dynamic world of longboard freestyle. This approach emphasizes freedom of movement, wide gestures, and a "large format" feel that stands out from more traditional lengths.
Target Audience for This Drum Kit/Instrument
These drumsticks are aimed at intermediate to advanced drummers seeking greater ease in wide gestures, quick transitions between toms and cymbals, and a stable grip. They are particularly suited for energetic styles where endurance and projection matter: rock, metal, punk, fusion, and live pop.
