An evolving stage piano that redefines the Legend '70s range
With the Legend '70s, the brand introduces an original approach to the stage piano: the instrument is no longer limited to a fixed sound bank, but becomes an evolving platform. The core concept is based on removable sound modules that can be selected, installed and replaced directly on the front panel according to your repertoire, stage setup or playing preferences.
This philosophy gives the Artist-W Compact a truly unique position within the range. It is designed for musicians who want to recapture the spirit of a vintage keyboard while benefiting from a modern, flexible architecture that is set to expand with the " Always Growing " family. It is an instrument designed to last, evolve and adapt to a wide variety of artistic needs.
Keyboard design
The Legend '70s Artist-W Compact features a Hammer Action keyboard designed to provide a convincing and precise response for pianists. Each key benefits from 3 sensors capable of detecting movement with great finesse, promoting better control over dynamics, repetitions and expressiveness. On this Artist-W version, the touch also features graded weighting, with a heavier feel in the bass and a lighter feel in the treble, as on a traditional acoustic piano.
Another noteworthy feature is the presence of genuine wooden keys. Carefully selected and stabilized, this material is intended to provide excellent playing consistency as well as lasting stability. The result is clearly aimed at musicians looking for a more organic feel under their fingers, both in the studio and on stage.
Sound quality
The model's greatest strength lies in its modular sound design. The Legend '70s can accommodate several modules equipped with latest-generation sound generators, including physical modeling. This architecture makes it possible to shape a custom instrument rather than settling for a single engine. Depending on the chosen configuration, the keyboard can cover the worlds of electric piano, acoustic piano, clavi, additional sounds and even more synthetic textures.
Among the announced modules are E.Piano Module, Sound Collection Module, A.Piano Module, Clavi Module, External Module, Synth-8 Module, Modulo A.Piano 2G and Modulo FM Synth. This variety gives musicians genuine freedom to assemble a coherent setup, whether they play pop, jazz, soul, funk, variété or more experimental styles.
Built-in effects
- Dedicated Effects section integrated into the Legend '70s architecture.
- Direct access to the settings via the buttons and knobs associated with the modules.
- Layout designed for quick adjustments in live situations.
