With its 2024 update, the RockBass range more than ever asserts its goal: to offer instruments at a controlled price while preserving Warwick's DNA (design, ergonomics, and sonic character). These models adopt the "mainstream" approach of the German brand's classics, with consistent craftsmanship and equipment to rehearse, record, and perform on stage without unnecessary compromises.

The J/J configuration makes it particularly comfortable for funk, pop, rock, variety, and modern jazz: precise attack, clarity in the mix, and the ability to switch from a round to a more punchy sound in one gesture.
The sound
The two MEC "Dynamic Correction" J active pickups deliver a clear and articulated response, ideal for maintaining clarity on right-hand nuances and sustained notes. The RockBass active preamp with Volume / Balance / Treble / Bass controls allows quick adjustment of presence (treble) and foundation (bass) without complex settings. On the craftsmanship side, the alder body contributes to a natural balance between warmth and attack, while the wenge fingerboard promotes a precise feel and well-defined grain, useful for both pick and fingerstyle playing.

To maintain the original feel and balance, choose a set of 4-string long scale 34" / 863.6 mm strings with gauges .045-.105 (the same as the Warwick Red Strings factory-installed).
