Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
Direct heirs of the Avedis lineage, the A Custom were developed in the 1990s to offer a contemporary interpretation of the "A" sound: brighter, clearer, and better suited to modern music. They sit at the heart of the professional Zildjian range, as a modern alternative to the traditional A Zildjian cymbals and brighter than the darker-character series.Who This Cymbal Is For
Ideal for intermediate to expert drummers seeking a responsive cymbal that is easy to place in the mix and consistent from model to model. Its definition makes it perfect for contexts where precision is key: radio-friendly pop and rock, intricate funk, technical fusion, powerful gospel, and studio situations requiring a "plug-and-play" cymbal without heavy EQ.Technical specifications
