Historical Context and Positioning in the Range
The Superkick I has established itself as a reference for a "record-ready" bass drum head, designed to deliver a controlled and musical sound straight from tuning. Within the Superkick range, it represents the most direct and responsive option thanks to its single-ply construction, while retaining the series' DNA: solid low end, clear attack, and built-in sustain control.
Who This Bass Drum Head Is For
This head is aimed at beginner to professional drummers seeking a clean and consistent result, whether in rehearsal, on stage, or in the studio. It is particularly suited for styles where the bass drum needs to remain tight and punchy: rock, pop, funk, gospel, modern metal, contemporary music, and multitrack recording, with quick setup and no need for damping accessories.
