The Filter footswitch acts as an advanced equalizer filter: ideal for tightening bass, scooping an intrusive area, or conversely emphasizing aggressive harmonics. Finally, Blast is the "no compromise" mode: the one you trigger when you want to explode the texture, increase the sense of crushing, and provoke more extreme behaviors.

The Master control sets the overall volume, essential to compensate for level variations depending on the activated combinations. And this is where the pedal becomes unique: inside, 8 DIP switches modify the very structure of the sound (Overload 1, Overload 2, Thin/Full, Trash/Smooth, Deep/Wide, Norm/Shift, Break/Saw, Crush/Blast). In practice, this lets you choose whether your saturation is finer or more massive, dirtier or smoother, deeper or wider, more regular or shifted, more broken or saw-like, more crushed or more explosive.

The Waveformer Destroyer has a clearly incisive and experimental signature: it can remain relatively defined and articulated if you choose smoother and well-filtered settings, but it is mainly designed to generate character, texture, and harmonics. Depending on the DIP switches, it ranges from a compact saturation, very tight in the low end, to a broader, rumbling distortion with a more abrasive high end. The response can be surprisingly dynamic: lowering the guitar volume partially cleans some settings and reveals a grainier, almost "velcro"-like texture depending on the selected mode.
