The 4 synthesis voices can be used multitimbrally or layered in unison up to 4 notes to build thicker sounds.

Are Analog Four MKI projects compatible with the MKII?

Projects and data from the first generation are fully compatible with this MKII version. Transitioning from an Analog Four MKI can thus be done without any announced conversion. However, the MKII factory bank has been completely redesigned.

Can this synth be used to control a modular system?

Four CV and Gate outputs are available to control external modular gear.

Does the synth have separate outputs for mixing?

Four individual jack outputs allow separating tracks for mixing. A stereo output on 2 jacks, a headphone output, and a USB Type B connection complete the audio connectivity.

What is the voice architecture?

Each voice combines 2 analog oscillators, 2 sub-oscillators, and a noise source with gate. A 4-pole ladder low-pass filter, 2-pole multimode filters, and an analog overdrive shape the timbre. Each voice also has 2 assignable LFOs, an amp envelope, and 2 assignable envelopes.
