Sound and Design

Designed for great ease of play, the DV HR helps achieve an immediate sound with good presence and a breath that "responds" quickly. Its patented DV design (secondary window) aims to enrich the spectrum with mid and low harmonics, providing more body and an unusual sense of density for an alto mouthpiece. The gold-plated brass ring at the base increases mass, contributing to stability, sound body, and better harmonic sustain. The mouthpiece also features a bite plate with logo, conceived as both an aesthetic and functional signature, although it is still recommended to add a mouthpiece cushion for comfort and durability.

This mouthpiece comes with a pouch, but without ligature or mouthpiece cap. If you already have a ligature suitable for an ebonite alto mouthpiece, it may fit depending on its size.
