Italian Design Serving a New Generation of Digital Accordions
The FISA Suprema embodies the fusion of traditional accordion DNA with the possibilities offered by digital technology. Designed by the KORG team based in Italy, close to accordion culture, it carefully considers ergonomics down to the size and positioning of the buttons, while offering a particularly ambitious sound architecture. The goal is clear: to retain the familiar feel of a chromatic 120-bass accordion while gaining versatility, preset recall, and stage comfort.
For Which Accordionists? Stage, Studio, Rehearsal, and a "Limitless" Repertoire
The KORG FISA Suprema (button version) targets musicians who want to cover multiple styles with a single instrument: musette, pop, world music, orchestral repertoire, as well as organ and synth tones. Thanks to its large user memory capacity (600) and numerous registers, it is suitable both for concerts where pieces are played back-to-back without pause and for work sessions where settings are refined. The built-in amplification allows easy autonomous playing, while USB/MIDI connections facilitate integration into a modern setup.
A Customizable Instrument Designed for Expression
The Accordion Sound, Finely Adjustable
With 45 accordion types, the FISA Suprema covers a variety of sound signatures. It allows deep customization: choice of reed types and combinations, placement inside or outside the cassotto (resonance chamber), tuning adjustment, management of mechanical noises, and "growl" character. It is even possible to "age" the sound to achieve a more seasoned tone, closely matching your musical identity.
Scenes, Registers, and Controllers: A True Performance Logic
The FISA Suprema is designed to be played as a living instrument, not just a simple module. The registers structure access to sounds, and the scenes allow quick recall of combinations, layering, and parameters. Control goes further with assignable commands: chin rest, master bar, touch ribbon, and gyroscopic sensor to influence sound through gesture. This approach makes the accordion particularly expressive, especially for orchestral layers, synth textures, or organ timbres.
Organ, Orchestra, Synth, and Drums: A Very Wide Palette
Beyond the accordion, the FISA Suprema includes sound families designed to expand the repertoire: orchestral sounds assignable to registers, Soloist section, synthesis sounds, and drum kits. Organ types include Tone Wheel models, Transistor (Farfisa, Vox), as well as Pipe variations, offering colors immediately usable live. To shape the output, the instrument offers a complete effects chain including reverb, delay, and master EQ, as well as multi-effects per part, not forgetting dedicated organ treatments (rotation, vibrato/chorus, overdrive).
Autonomy, Audio Playback, and Everyday Comfort
Designed to accompany musicians over time, the FISA Suprema operates on an AC adapter (DC 9 V) or on a rechargeable battery with over 9 hours of announced autonomy. It also features an audio player compatible with MP3 and WAV, useful for working with playbacks, preparing a set, or rehearsing efficiently. Delivered with straps and a soft case, it aims for practical use, from transport to setup.
