The Hi-Z input allows direct connection of a guitar or bass, in addition to MIC, LINE, and USB inputs that can be used simultaneously.
How does the two-finger touch control work?
The touch surface lets two parameters be modulated in parallel with two fingers. Combinations such as filter and delay, or pitch and reverb, can be controlled simultaneously. The KAOSS PAD V features 300 effect programs.
Is it possible to create loops and samples on the KAOSS PAD V?
Real-time sampling and looping enable capturing and layering loops, with a Step Hold locked to the tempo.
Do the vocal effects allow MIDI control?
The Voice FX engine offers harmonies, vocoder, and vocal transposition. It is also possible to control external synthesizers via MIDI using the voice input.
What connectivity is available for studio and streaming?
A built-in USB audio interface provides recording and streaming capability. Connections include USB, MIDI, jack, and RCA inputs, plus USB, MIDI, RCA outputs, and a headphone output. Synchronization is handled via USB or MIDI.
