A KROME EX Designed as the "Boosted" Version of the Series
The KROME-73EX embodies the KORG workstation spirit: a versatile instrument oriented towards performance and production, emphasizing modern, ready-to-play sounds. This EX version enriches the palette with carefully selected new sounds, including ethnic instruments (steel pan, kalimba, kokyu) and cinematic-type atmospheres, while retaining KORG's DNA: efficiency, inspiration, and direct access to essential functions.
The new grand pianos, recorded under the supervision of Seigen Ono, provide a particularly musical response for solo parts, pop accompaniment, composition, and arrangement.
Who It's For: Creative Keyboardists, Bands, and Composers Seeking an All-in-One
With its 73 semi-weighted keys, the KROME-73EX targets musicians wanting an agile and expressive touch, suitable for electric piano parts, leads, pads, and left/right hand splits. It suits both experienced keyboardists and producers looking for a workstation that is easy to use, effective in the home studio, and reliable live.
Its sound universe naturally covers electro, pop, synthwave, funk, film music, ambient, as well as modern arrangements where drums, pianos, and synth textures coexist seamlessly.
