A Compact Console Born from a Field-Oriented Collaboration
Designed in the spirit of compact hybrid analog/digital consoles, this Korg SoundLink is based on a collaboration with the legendary Greg Mackie and Peter Watts team. The goal is clear: to regain the speed and simplicity of live analog mixing while adding the precision and reliability of digital processing only where it truly benefits. The result: a console designed to get straight to the point, with effective ergonomics, refined audio quality, and genuinely useful features for rehearsals, on stage, or in recording setups.
Who Is It For, and What Are Its Uses?
This console is aimed at bands, sound engineers, stage managers, and musicians who want fast mixing without complex menus, while retaining modern tools to secure a concert and save time. It suits both live performances (venues, clubs, houses of worship, events) and recording or rehearsal setups, thanks to its bus architecture, subgroups, and comprehensive connectivity. The dedicated monitoring section for musicians facilitates on-stage work by allowing adjustment of certain listening levels without disturbing the main mix or AUX sends.

Does the mixer have a feedback suppressor?
The 31-band spectrum analyzer and the feedback suppressor control allow identification and treatment of problematic frequencies.
What processing is available on the mic channels?
Each mic channel has a single-knob compressor to control level dynamics. The specifications also mention a configurable compressor and a gate.
Is it possible to manage musicians' headphone monitors separately?
Four AUX outputs on XLR are available, complemented by two musician headphone outputs on 6.35 mm jack. The Musicians Phones section allows boosting the monitoring for two musicians without changing the AUX or MAIN mixes.
