Two Amps, Zero Hassle: Who and What For?

This ABY switch is aimed at guitarists and bassists playing through two amps (stereo, wet/dry, clean + crunch, combo + head, amp + PA system) who want to switch between them instantly without the typical "hum" caused by ground loops. It's also a powerful solution for musicians alternating different sources on stage: electric guitar, bass, electro-acoustic, double bass, or hybrid instruments.

Switching, Modes, TRS: An Ultra-Clean Routing Toolbox

At the heart of the LEHLE LITTLE DUAL II is a switching architecture designed to be fast, silent, and durable. The "soft-touch" footswitches do not switch audio directly: they control a microcontroller and a true bypass relay system with active switching noise suppression. The result: no "click," no crackle, and a very precise control feel underfoot.

The two operating modes let you tailor the pedal to your setup: either you activate/deactivate each output separately (useful for switching from A to A+B, or muting one output), or you use a more "AB" logic to alternate switching and add/remove the other amp as needed. Finally, the TRS function opens advanced uses: you can send a stereo or dual-mono signal via a 6.35mm TRS Jack (balanced or stereo), then route these two channels to outputs A and B. Ideal with a stereo multi-effects unit, or an instrument with two pickups (e.g., piezo and magnetic) to drive two separate amplification systems.
