In the Lineage of the LCT Series, Designed for Versatility

The LCT 140 AIR sits at the core of LEWITT's instrument range. Positioned above entry-level models like the LCT 040 MATCH, it adds essential control tools (high-pass filter and pad) while maintaining the clarity and definition characteristic of LEWITT small diaphragms. Its dual "color" AIR/FLAT makes it a natural choice when you need to quickly switch between a modern, open sound and a faithful, transparent capture.

For Whom and For What Uses?

Ideal for demanding home studio users as well as sound engineers, the LCT 140 AIR excels on acoustic guitars, strings, percussion, drum overheads, and choirs. In matched stereo pairs, it offers precise imaging for ensemble recordings, pianos, and ambiances, whether in the studio, rehearsal, or live capture.

Key Features for Fast and Controlled Recordings

Two Voices, One Solution

The "AIR" mode provides an open and sparkling brightness without the need for post-production, perfect for highlighting detail in recordings. The "FLAT" mode delivers a linear frequency response, ensuring a natural and realistic reproduction of acoustic sources.

Preserved Transients, Easier Mixing

The small diaphragm of the LCT 140 AIR accurately captures attack and micro-dynamics. You get tracks that sit easily in the mix, with clear contours and a coherent image.

Integrated High-Pass Filter and Pad

The 80 Hz high-pass filter (12 dB/oct) effectively cleans up rumble and handling noise. The -12 dB pad secures your recordings on high-level sources, preserving signal integrity at the preamp input.

Exceptional Stereo Matching

LEWITT meticulously measures the response and sensitivity of each capsule to create stereo pairs with imperceptible tolerances. The result: exemplary phase coherence and a stable image, even in close configurations.
