Part of the "Superior" series, the Sabicas C3-FR draws on the historic craftsmanship of the Manuel Rodriguez house, combined with a contemporary approach to materials and finishing. Dedicated to the flamenco repertoire, it emphasizes response speed, projection, and stage reliability, in a carefully crafted and durable lutherie.
For Whom and Which Styles?
Designed for intermediate to advanced flamenco guitarists, this "blanca" excels in palos requiring a sharp attack and precise articulation: bulerías, tangos, alegrías, soleás. The 52 mm nut width promotes left-hand independence, while the 660 mm scale length provides tension, dynamics, and definition for picado and alzapúa.
Sound
The solid Carpathian spruce top delivers a controlled bass, lively midrange, and bright trebles, with a very short response time ideal for compás. The multilayer flamed maple back/sides enhance dryness and brightness, giving the sought-after percussive character. The Spanish heel optimizes vibration transmission, while the "Moreno" 12-hole bridge increases the break angle for greater precision and stability. The transparent golpeador protects the top without altering projection.
