An M 300 Designed for the Demands of Broadcast, Studio, and Sets

The M 300 was developed with a clear priority: to deliver precise and stable capture in contexts where artifacts, unwanted noise, or unpredictable behavior cannot be tolerated. Its design aligns with microphones intended for professional environments (studio, radio, television, film), while remaining perfectly comfortable for live recordings, sound reinforcement, and venues with sometimes challenging acoustics or electrical installations.
Its miniature format facilitates integration on a set, in a control room, on a lectern, or in a mobile recording configuration. The dark bronze finish enhances a discreet and coherent appearance in stage or video capture contexts, while maintaining a high-end identity.

Who Is This Microphone For, and What Are Its Uses?

The M 300 is aimed at sound engineers, broadcast technicians, stage managers, post-production studios, and content creators seeking a microphone capable of delivering vocal and instrument recordings with excellent signal-to-noise ratio, while remaining reliable when conditions become challenging. In radio and television, it is particularly suitable for setups where signal cleanliness and resistance to interference are essential.
In live recording, it meets the needs for capturing singing, spoken voice, and instruments, whether for concert recording, controlled ambient capture, or professional and semi-professional sound reinforcement configurations. In places of worship and other permanent installations, its low sensitivity to RF interference helps maintain stable reproduction daily, even amid numerous pieces of equipment.

Design and Performance: Silence, Dynamics, and Operational Robustness

New Low-Noise Hybrid Circuit and Transformerless Design

The M 300 adopts a new integrated low-noise hybrid circuit combined with a transformerless design. This technical choice aims for clean reproduction, extreme dynamic range, and consistent operation, both in the studio and on location. The result: a usable signal with a wide margin of maneuver, whether working with close vocals, instrument capture, or in a demanding broadcast chain.

Immunity to RF Interference

In many environments (sets, public places, fixed installations), RF sources can disrupt capture. The M 300 is specified with minimal sensitivity to RF interference, a tangible advantage for limiting unwanted noise and maintaining calmer capture, especially during long sessions or events.

48 V Phantom Power via XLR: Simple Integration in Studio and Control Room

The microphone is powered via the 3-pin C 70 XLR cable, through 48 V phantom power (P 48) compliant with DIN 45596 and IEC 268-15 standards. This compatibility facilitates integration into the majority of professional audio chains (microphone preamps, consoles, interfaces) without special adaptation. The N 200 power supply allows powering two channels, convenient for multi-mic configurations or fixed installations.
For close vocal capture, the use of the W 20 windscreen is recommended to improve recording comfort, particularly against air movement and plosives, while preserving timbre clarity.
