Roland Vocal Designer is a modeling expansion dedicated to vocal synthesis for certain ZEN-Core instruments. Its goal: to transform a voice (or any other audio source) into an expressive sound material capable of "singing" through your synthesis sounds. This allows you to obtain hybrid textures, between human and machine, ideal for electro, pop, hip-hop, EDM, synthwave, and soundtracks production, as well as to enrich live performances with intelligible and musical vocal effects.

The principle is based on the duo of modulator (often the voice via microphone) and carrier (a ZEN-Core sound: pad, lead, bass, texture, etc.). Your articulation, attacks, and nuances bring the carrier to life, resulting in more than just an effect: it is a true performance and sound design instrument.
