Si Expression: The "Live" Soundcraft Spirit at the Core of the Range
Designed for immediate usability, the Si Expression series is available in three formats (32, 24, and 16 faders) to suit stage sizes and transport constraints. The Si Expression 1 (16-fader, rack-mountable version) carries the DNA of the range: a clear control surface, generous DSP power, and tools directly oriented towards live use, providing real comfort from the first hands-on experience.
Intended Uses and Users
The Soundcraft Si Expression 1 is aimed at live sound engineers, contractors, venues, technical teams, and touring bands who want a digital console capable of handling substantial input configurations (microphones, lines, monitors, effects) while remaining quick to operate. It is also perfectly suited for fixed installations (clubs, multipurpose halls, theaters, places of worship) seeking a flexible console with buses, matrices, and processing immediately accessible to manage front-of-house, monitors, and specific sends.

Questions frequently asked
How many inputs and mixing channels are available?
The console features 32 microphone inputs and handles up to 66 mixing channels. An expansion slot allows adding 64 inputs/outputs in a 64 x 64 configuration.
Is the Soundcraft Si Expression 3 suitable for stage monitors?
The TOTEM function instantly assigns faders to mix a subgroup output, enabling quick adjustments on stage monitors. Each bus has a BSS graphic EQ to tailor its response depending on the stage setup.
What effects are built into the console?
Four Lexicon effects processors are integrated, with 4 dedicated stereo returns for reverbs, delays, and other effects.
How is the level of sends kept stable when changing gain?
The D.O.G.S process compensates input gain variations on send buses and direct outputs. Levels sent remain constant when a preamp is adjusted during a performance.
Can the console be controlled remotely with an iPad?
Control via ViSi Remote for iPad is supported. Harman HIQnet integration is also included. The color touchscreen and FaderGlow facilitate function identification on the surface.
