Historical Context and Positioning in the Range

Direct heir of the 1960s AC models, the AC30 AC-HWR carries the VOX DNA that shaped British pop and rock, then translates it into a hand-wired head designed for today's demands. Positioned as a premium "artisan/heritage" reference within the AC family, it prioritizes circuit purity, dynamics, and longevity while retaining the legendary tone that made the brand famous.

Who This Amp Is For

Designed for intermediate to professional guitarists, it shines in studio, rehearsal, and live settings. Ideal for pop, rock, indie, britpop, and blues, it offers an expressive sonic foundation, responsive to nuanced playing, and pairs perfectly with gain, modulation, and delay pedals. If you're looking for a spacious clean tone that transitions to musical crunch by hand, it's a safe choice.
