The Warwick RockBass series gets a makeover for 2024, retaining the aesthetics and sonic identity that built the reputation of the German brand. The goal is clear: to offer an electric bass with the Warwick look, consistent luthiery and hardware choices, to capture the feel and character of the range without moving into the most premium models.

This RockBass is aimed at demanding beginner bassists as well as intermediate players who want a reliable, expressive bass capable of covering many genres. Thanks to its "big sound" oriented setup and active EQ, it performs well in rock, funk, pop, and metal, with a quick response appreciated in fingerstyle and pick playing, and a good dynamic range for slap techniques.
Sound
The ash body provides tight lows, a clear attack, and good definition-ideal for maintaining clarity in dense mixes. The maple and ekanga neck contributes to stability and responsiveness, while the tiger ebony fingerboard enhances precision and an "articulated" quality in the highs. The MEC passive pickups in the style of Music Man deliver a modern, powerful, and percussive tone, and the RockBass active electronics (Bass and Treble) allow quick shaping of the spectrum: beefier lows to lock in the groove, or brighter highs to cut through slap and pick attacks.
