The ash body provides a lively response, firm lows, and good projection, while the wenge fingerboard enhances attack precision and clarity, especially useful on a 5-string. The MEC passive pickups in Music Man style deliver a punchy, dense, and articulated sound, with a present midrange that "cuts" through the mix.
