A Clavinova Designed to Recapture the Feel of an Acoustic Piano
The CLP-775 follows the Clavinova philosophy: to offer a console digital piano that brings the pianist closer to the sensations of an acoustic piano, both in touch and sound response. Its approach emphasizes nuance, resonance, and daily playing comfort, with a modern interface and useful features for both personal practice and learning.Keyboard Design
The GrandTouch 88-key keyboard is designed to provide a feel close to that of a grand piano: wooden keys (white keys only), synthetic ivory and ebony coating for better grip, and escapement for more realistic response in delicate playing. The mechanism includes 88-key Linear Graded Hammers (graded hammers across the entire range). Sensitivity is adjustable (Hard2, Hard1, Medium, Soft1, Soft2, Fixed) to adapt the response to your technique, repertoire, or headphone practice.Sound Quality
The sound generator features two piano references: Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial. For headphone playing, the CLP-775 offers binaural sampling on "CFX Grand" and "Bösendorfer" to achieve a more natural and enveloping listening experience. The technologies Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) and Grand Expression Modeling contribute to the richness of resonances, timbre variations, and dynamic continuity. With 38 voices and a maximum polyphony of 256 notes, the piano remains clear and detailed, even with pedal use, layered sounds, and dense passages. The integrated amplification system is generous (amplifiers (45 W + 25 W + 40 W) x 2, speakers (16 cm + 8 cm with diffuser + 2.5 cm dome with bidirectional horn) x 2) for wide sound dispersion in a living room.Built-in Effects
