About the brand Eko
EKO was founded and still operates in central Italy, at the heart of what is considered the true Italian music district, one of the most important in Europe.
More precisely, in the Marche region, notably around Recanati, Castelfidardo, Senigallia, Loreto and Montelupone, the late 1950s and early 1960s saw the birth and development of some of the most important Italian companies specializing in musical instruments and related sectors: accordions, guitars and other stringed instruments, bellows instruments, electronic organs, as well as sound systems for the stage.
By the mid-1960s, the musical instrument industry in the Marche employed about 60,000 people and was one of the most creative and innovative hubs in the sector worldwide.
Even today, several internationally renowned companies, including EKO, continue their activities in this same region, at the heart of Italian creativity and expertise.
