A Soapbar Signature Designed for Demanding Bassists
The Soapbar Super Doubles Kit is aimed at musicians seeking the impact of a modern pickup without sacrificing musicality. Thanks to its double coil design, this pickup set offers a wide tonal palette: firm and articulated lows, a present low-midrange to "carry" the mix, and clarity that remains stable even when played aggressively. The Type D4 format facilitates integration on basses compatible with this size, while maintaining the clean aesthetic typical of soapbar pickups.
For Live, Studio, and Dynamic Playing on 5-String Basses
On a 5-string bass, string-to-string consistency is essential: here, the response is designed to stay balanced from the low B up to the highest registers. The result is particularly appreciated in live contexts (where stability and noise-free operation matter) as well as in recording (where a clear attack and controlled background noise are sought). Whether you play fingerstyle, with a pick, slap, or more nuanced techniques, this kit follows dynamic variations and maintains a clean and powerful output.
Double Coil: Power, Precision, and Noise-Free Operation
The double coil configuration of the Soapbar Super Doubles Kit provides a solid sonic foundation and excellent definition, while helping to limit unwanted noise. You gain clarity on sustained notes, precision on fast attacks, and presence in the mix without losing overall balance. It's a relevant choice for those seeking a modern, effective, and versatile tone capable of adapting to multiple musical genres while retaining a clear sonic identity.
