A Celviano Designed for the Discerning Home
Within the Celviano family, the AP-550 combines furniture elegance with the demands of modern pianists. Its refined design fits seamlessly into the living room, while its sound engine and study tools make it a reliable companion for progress and enjoyment, from the first piece to more advanced repertoires.
Keyboard Design
The 88-key intelligent hybrid hammer action keyboard (Celviano edition) combines grand piano-inspired mechanics with a stable wood/resin construction. The surfaces mimic ebony and ivory for natural grip. Customize your playing with 5 touch sensitivity curves, hammer response (4 levels), and key release response (3 levels) for fine control over dynamics and legato.
Sound Quality
Powered by the multidimensional AiR sound source, the AP-550 highlights two exceptional grand pianos among 26 tones, with 256-note polyphony. The richness of play is supported by string resonance, sustain pedal resonance, key action noise, and the lid opening simulator. Lossless audio compression preserves timbre, while the 2-channel/4-speaker system delivers a broad and precise sound.
Built-in Effects
Shape the space with the room simulator (4 types), reverb (8 types), and surround (2 levels), complemented by chorus, brilliance, digital signal processing (presets), Volume Sync EQ, and a specially optimized headphone mode.
