The Triptychon is aimed at guitarists who like to control their saturation with their fingers as much as with knobs: pick attack, right-hand dynamics, guitar volume... everything is taken into account. It excels in rough blues, classic rock, garage, stoner, doom, and psychedelic rock, but is also very inspiring when it comes to layering textures in the studio. Live, its format avoids multiplying boxes and cables: you keep a complete "vintage chain" approach, with controls designed to be quick and musical on stage.

Controls, Modes, and Routing: Three Independent Stages, a Complete Rig Logic

At the heart of the Triptychon, the 4-voice Fuzz offers a very wide palette: a Fuzz control to adjust gain, a voice selector (ff, vtb, 3/2, 2) to change character, and a Volume to set output level. This section easily shifts from a dynamic, edgy grain to a thicker, more imposing saturation.
The Boost / Octave section offers a Gain control, an OCT/BST switch to toggle between treble booster and octave fuzz, and a MOD knob that adjusts voicing (treble boost or mid boost in boost mode, cleaner or richer harmonics in octave mode). Perfect to brighten a dark sound, thicken a riff, or transform a lead into a very singing harmonic scream.
On the left, the Drive section acts like an amp already "on the edge": Drive sets saturation level, Tone adjusts brightness, and Master fixes overall volume. The strong point is the assignment: the Drive can be linked to the Fuzz footswitch or to the Boost/Octave footswitch for simple and effective stage setups. For even finer control, the XT connection allows using an external footswitch (sold separately) to make the Drive completely independent.
Finally, the two switchable (Anti) Buffer circuits (on the Fuzz and on the Boost/Octave) restore proper impedance interaction when your guitar does not drive the pedal directly. This is especially useful if your chain contains buffers, active pickups, or a wireless system: you more easily recover the typical "response" and volume cleaning of vintage fuzzes.

The Sound

The Triptychon clearly targets the "old school" field: a lively attack, musical compression when stacking, and harmonic richness that adds depth to the sound. The Fuzz remains very responsive to playing, capable of being surprisingly articulate, then massive and aggressive when pushed. The Boost/Octave serves as a mixing weapon: either you cut through and stand out, or you thicken and make the harmonics sing.
The use of silicon transistors in metal-can packages, with an architecture designed to capture the germanium spirit, provides an organic grain and very satisfying volume cleaning, while avoiding the quirks often associated with old fuzzes (instability, overly marked variations). And since the Drive acts as the "amp environment," stacking sounds natural: more tightness, more sustain, and the impression that a single coherent gain system lives under your feet.
