A compact Leslie designed for modern setups without sacrificing Hammond character
Designed to meet the transport and versatility demands of today's keyboardists, this compact Leslie captures the spirit of the rotating speakers that shaped the electric organ sound. The idea is clear: preserve the authenticity of the mechanical rotating horn where it matters (Rotary channel), while offering two Stationary channels to properly amplify a stage piano, arranger keyboard, or synth in stereo. The result: a single coherent sound system, faster to set up and easier to control live.
Keyboard design
No keyboard is integrated: this model is a Leslie speaker dedicated to keyboards and organs. Its advantage for a gigging musician is to provide immediate control of the "organ" character via the Rotary channel (and foot-controlled slow/fast speed), while maintaining classic stereo output on the two Stationary channels. This design avoids forcing all your sounds through the Leslie effect and preserves the stereo image of modern pianos and keyboards.
Sound quality
The core of the sound comes from a true rotating horn for the highs, combined with a digital rotor-style bass processing to maintain the sense of movement while controlling the foundation and clarity in a mix. With a total amplification of 200 W RMS (50 W for the Rotary channel and 2 x 75 W for the Stationary channels) and a set of 5 speakers, you get a sharp attack, excellent projection, and a very "organic" presence at rehearsal volume or on stage.
Built-in effects
- Overdrive integrated via tube preamp, from warm grit to rock-style saturation
- Slow/fast rotation footswitch control to recreate classic Leslie transitions
- Rotary channel dedicated to the acoustic modulation of the rotating horn
- Digital rotor-style bass processing to enhance the sense of movement and low-end stability

Questions frequently asked
Does the Hammond 2101MK2 allow connecting a Hammond organ and a stereo keyboard?
The Leslie 11-pin and 8-pin DIN inputs enable integration with Hammond setups. The Stationary-L and Stationary-R channels separately accept a stage piano, arranger, or synth in stereo.
Is the Leslie horn mechanical on the Rotary channel?
The Rotary channel uses a mechanical rotating horn for the treble frequencies, while the bass frequencies benefit from a digital rotor simulation.
What power and speakers are built in?
The amplification totals 200 W RMS: 50 W for Rotary and 2 x 75 W for Stationary. Sound is delivered through 5 speakers, including two 5-inch woofers and two stationary 2-inch soft dome tweeters. The unit measures 500 x 500 x 320 mm and weighs 21 kg.
How to control the Leslie slow/fast speed by foot?
Two footswitch inputs are provided: one dedicated to slow/fast control and one for preset switching.
What outputs are available for front-of-house feed?
Four separate Line Out outputs are available: Stationary-L, Stationary-R, Rotary-L, and Rotary-R.
