It brings together the essential Generator character across three channels designed to cover a wide range of styles, from articulate clean tones to the densest contemporary overdrive tones.

A Tube Head for the Studio, Rehearsals and the Stage

The Generator G50 is suitable for intermediate guitarists as well as experienced musicians who want to build a complete rig around a single head. In rehearsal or on stage, its 50 Watts provide the volume headroom needed to power a guitar cabinet while maintaining good definition in a band. The 10-Watt mode, meanwhile, makes it easier to work at more controlled volume levels.

Thanks to Torpedo by Two notes technology and its built-in reactive load, it is also highly suitable for home studios and professional recording studios. You can play or record without a cabinet connected, with direct output that can be monitored through headphones or via the XLR outputs. Its natural territory covers modern rock, hard rock, metal, prog, punk and styles requiring tight rhythm tones, while its clean and crunch channels also handle blues rock and pop with ease.

Three Channels, Extensive Control and Modern Integration

The Blue channel delivers open, detailed clean tones, with a Wide voicing to broaden the sense of space and low end. The Green channel takes over for edgy crunch and expressive overdrive; its three Drive voicings let you adjust the character of the distortion according to the guitar, pickups and playing style. These two channels share a three-band EQ, while each retains its own Bright selector.

The Purple channel is dedicated to high-gain tones. Its independent three-band EQ, three Aggression voicings, and Cut and Fat switches offer extensive control for shaping tight rhythm tones, heavy chords or cutting lead sounds. Two Master volume settings let you prepare two distinct volume levels, while the Presence and Depth controls affect projection and low-end foundation.

The G50 also features digital reverb, an adjustable and transparent noise gate, as well as a buffered series effects loop for accommodating delay, modulation or an external processor. Its advanced MIDI control with OMNI function simplifies integration into a MIDI-controlled pedalboard, while the included programmable footswitch makes it easy to recall the essential channels and functions.
