The Blackouts Signature: Level, Clarity, Control
The ASB-BO-4S kit embodies the Blackouts spirit: achieving an aggressive and modern sound without having to "force" the EQ. The built-in preamp emphasizes impressive lows, clean highs, and a very fast response, ideal for keeping the low end clear when the mix gets dense.
For Which Basses and Styles?
Designed for bassists seeking a high output level and firm attack, this set excels in rock, metal, punk, as well as modern contexts where precision is required (fingerstyle, pick playing, slap). The blade design promotes a consistent feel from string to string, useful for chords, fast runs, and drop tunings that demand sustain in the low end.
A Ready-to-Wire Set, Designed for Stage and Studio
This "set" kit allows you to assemble a complete configuration with two pickups, usable interchangeably in neck or bridge positions. To simplify the installation of active electronics, essential wiring and mounting components are included (including hardware and components necessary for battery operation). The result: a punchy sound, comfortable dynamic range, and excellent presence, whether you play clean slap or dense distortion.
