The Legend Exp is aimed at musicians looking for the sonic personality of the Legend range without the bulk of a larger instrument. Its approach is clear: to offer the essentials of modern organ playing in a compact module that is easy to integrate into a live setup, with a master keyboard or in a studio configuration. With its understated satin Black chassis and light wood-style finishing, it maintains an elegant presence while remaining focused on efficiency.

This positioning makes it a particularly relevant solution for keyboard players who want to regain an immediate sense of control. The appeal is not only having a great sound, but also quick access to the parameters that make all the difference in expressive playing: registration, percussion, vibrato, chorus, drive and rotary. The Legend Exp therefore focuses on spontaneity, a decisive criterion for performing musicians.

Keyboard design

The Legend Exp does not include a built-in keyboard: it was designed as an expander module to be controlled from a master keyboard or an existing setup. This architecture will appeal to organists and keyboard players who already have their preferred touch and simply want to pair it with a dedicated sound engine. Instead of a physical keyboard, there is a highly direct playing interface, dominated by a complete set of 9 drawbars, designed to recreate the organ-playing gesture and allow precise real-time harmonic shaping.

The control panel ergonomics play a central role here. The controls are arranged to facilitate instant adjustments during performance, without complex navigation. Master volume, reverb, drive, preset selection, percussion management and rotary control are immediately accessible, reinforcing the feeling of a living instrument rather than a simple sound module.

Sound quality

The strength of the Legend Exp lies in its " Legend sound " engine, powered by TMT physical modeling technology. This approach aims to reproduce an organic response, with a more flexible and expressive behavior than simple playback of static samples. For the musician, this translates into tones that respond more naturally to changes in registration and playing, with a credible sonic identity both for accompaniment and solo performance.

The harmonic percussion further expands this palette. Choosing between the 2nd and 3rd harmonics lets you shape the character of the attack, while the soft or normal and fast or slow settings provide genuine control over nuance. Add the assignable Vibrato/Chorus for the upper and lower sections, along with drive and rotary control, and you have a module capable of covering a range from warm, mellow sounds to sharper and more expressive textures.
