A modern switcher to tame complex pedalboards
When a pedalboard grows, the real challenge is no longer finding "the" perfect pedal, but chaining combinations without turning into a tap dancer. The Super Switcher follows this logic: centralize control, simplify changes, and make your rig more coherent whether you play in a home studio, rehearsal, or on stage. Its philosophy is clear: put control front and center, and relegate pedals (and their footswitches) to the background, while maintaining true wiring flexibility.Who is it for, and in what contexts?
The Super Switcher is aimed at guitarists and bassists who use multiple effects and want to change sounds quickly without risking leaving a pedal engaged. It is also well suited for musicians playing with a stereo setup (two amps, amp + mixer, or wet/dry chain), or who need reliable organization live.In terms of styles, it fits wherever soundscapes evolve quickly: rock, pop, metal, funk, worship, ambient... and more generally any situation where you need to switch from a clean verse to a saturated chorus, then to a lead with boost, all with a single press. The 128 presets also facilitate working by song (one patch per section) and repeatability in the studio.

Questions frequently asked
Electro Harmonix Super Switcher: how many pedals can it control?
The eight mechanical relay bypass loops allow integration of up to eight pedals into storable combinations. The system offers 16 banks of 8 presets, totaling 128 presets.
Can the Super Switcher handle a stereo pedalboard?
Mono and stereo connections, with left and right outputs, allow integration of a stereo chain to two amplifiers or a mixing console.
Is the Super Switcher MIDI-compatible to sync a delay?
The MIDI section can send and receive MIDI clock. A tap signal can also be sent to the dedicated output. The BPM can be set globally or stored per preset.
