A "next-generation" reverb within the MOD series
The MOD Reverb is part of Gamechanger Audio's MOD series, designed to go beyond "static" reverb: here, the sound doesn't just sound good, it reacts. The core idea is simple yet powerful in practice: instead of controlling the reverb with a traditional LFO, you use your playing as the source of movement. The result: organic atmospheres, lively reverb tails, and effects impossible to replicate with a traditional pedal, all while remaining immediately musical.

The GAMECHANGER AUDIO MOD Reverb is aimed at both intermediate musicians and advanced players who want a creative reverb without navigating menus. In alternative rock, post-rock, ambient, shoegaze, electronic, or even modern pop, it excels whenever you want a reverb that participates in the arrangement rather than staying in the background.
In the studio, it becomes a true texture machine: you can sculpt the instrument's place in the mix by varying tone and decay according to note pitch. Live, the "performance" logic is a major asset: the pedal follows your attacks, bends, and vibratos, delivering an expressive result even with a minimalist pedalboard.
Controls, routings, and modulation: a pedal that plays with you
The MOD Reverb offers 3 algorithms (PLATE, SPRING, HALL) and a deliberately clear interface: LEVEL, DECAY, TONE, DRIVE. Each main control is paired with a small modulation adjustment (attenuverter) that defines how much the parameter moves... and in which direction. You can thus strongly increase DECAY on certain notes while subtly reducing TONE, or vice versa, for a truly "animated" reverb.
Two modulation sources lie at the heart of the concept. DYNAMICS analyzes your volume nuances and attack character. PITCH detects pitch, bends, and vibratos. You then route these modulations to one of the four parameters to create gated reverb behaviors, inverse decay, or "intelligent" reverbs that brighten when you play lower notes to keep the low end clean.
Customization goes further with dedicated settings: adjust the release of DYNAMICS (how the modulation fades), add a glissando behavior on PITCH, and tailor response curves to your touch. You can also set a center note by holding both footswitches: pitch modulation only activates when exceeding this note. Meanwhile, DYNAMICS features an adjustable volume threshold to trigger modulation only on stronger notes.
Regarding space, the pedal offers 3 stereo dispersion settings: 0%, 50%, and 100%. Handy for switching from a focused signal (ideal for rhythm parts) to a wide, enveloping image (perfect for intros, interludes, and pads).
Sound
The MOD Reverb stands out with a rich and modern reverb, capable of realism (convincing plate/spring/hall) as well as much more experimental atmospheres thanks to playing-driven modulation. Dynamics are a strong point: playing softly keeps a controlled, clear texture, then the pedal can open up, darken, brighten, or saturate as you accentuate, depending on your routings and attenuverters.
The DRIVE control adds grit and thickens the tail, useful for adding body to a spring reverb or pushing a hall toward more "lo-fi" and massive textures. The result remains very inspiring on guitar, but also on synths, drum machines, or external sources thanks to switchable input levels and routing options.
