An Ibanez Classic Reimagined in Mini Format

The compact pedal market has revived a simple idea: keep the essentials but make it more practical. The Ibanez Mini Analog Delay follows this logic by capturing the DNA of vintage analog delays that shaped decades of guitar tones, while adapting it to an ultra-easy-to-fit format on a modern pedalboard. Made in Japan, it targets musicians who want to rediscover the organic feel of an analog delay with immediate playability.

For Which Guitarists and Styles?

This pedal is suited both for beginner guitarists seeking their first simple and inspiring delay, and for experienced musicians looking for a compact analog delay to complement an already full setup. It excels in blues and rock (slapback, thickened solos, wider riffs), but also works well in indie, pop, and light ambient when adjusting the mix and number of repeats. In the studio, it adds natural depth without cluttering the mix; live, its mini format and true bypass make it a reliable choice for a pedalboard that's quick to set up.

Controls and Operation: The Essentials, Perfectly Adjustable

The ADMINI goes straight to the point with three controls designed to dial in a delay without confusion: Delay Time (center, larger for precise on-stage adjustment), Repeat (number of repeats), and Blend (mix between dry and effected signals). Its 20 ms to 600 ms range covers most musical uses: subtle doubling, vintage-style slapback, moderate rhythmic echoes, and longer repeats to stretch notes. The true bypass ensures the most direct signal path possible when the effect is off, useful if you want to preserve the character of your guitar, pickups, and amp.

Sound Character

The charm of this mini analog delay lies in how it "sits" behind your playing: the repeats remain smooth, warm, and naturally integrated, without artificial brightness. On short settings, it thickens a riff or solo like a subtle halo; on longer settings, it creates a clear, musical space that respects pick attacks and dynamics. The pedal responds particularly well to playing dynamics and guitar volume: the harder you play, the more alive the echo feels, making it very expressive for blues, rock, and singing leads.
