A Modern Pedal Inspired by Harmonizers, Part of the Bloom Infinity Series

The KBS-04 Veinshifter takes a contemporary approach to pitch shifting: solid accuracy, controlled latency, and above all, a "microtonal" dimension that transforms a simple interval change into a genuine sense of space. It is part of the Bloom Infinity Series, a range focused on creativity, expressive transitions, and stereo textures, with a deliberately compact interface packed with parameters.

Who It's For, Styles, and Applications

This pedal is equally suited to intermediate guitarists and experienced musicians looking to enrich their lines with harmonies, octaves, detunes, and glissandos without sacrificing dynamics. It is particularly inspiring for ambient, post-rock, indie, and electro, as well as modern rock, where it can thicken up a riff or make a lead part stand out.
In the studio, the Dry/Wet separation makes it easy to record to two tracks (clean dry + processed wet). Live, Momentary mode lets you create perfectly placed "pitch hits", controlled with your foot, without having to leave the effect active permanently.

Controls, Modes, and Expressive Functions

The Veinshifter's core combines 24-bit conversion with 32-bit internal processing, featuring stereo management designed to naturally widen the soundstage. The pedal offers dedicated controls for microtonal modulation (speed and detune range), mix, as well as the attack and release times associated with transitions (Glide and Ramp).
The Ramp function enables a controlled fade between two states: your current setting ("Panel-Set") and a stored setting ("Snap-Set"). Its behavior can be configured in Momentary mode (the transition occurs only while you hold down the footswitch) for momentary effects, or in latching mode for more "scene-like" changes.

The Sound

The Veinshifter stands out for its clear and stable character on chords, while retaining a musical feel across intervals. In microtonal True Stereo, it delivers an exceptionally immersive width: either a "lively" stereo image created by pitch variations, or more radical Dry/Wet routing for layering external processing. The Analog Dry-Through helps preserve your guitar's attack and core tone, even when the wet signal becomes highly prominent.
